Chapter 1257

Chapter 1257:

After hanging up, Fabian inhaled deeply before looking at Allison and Kellan. “I have to get over there immediately.”

“We’re coming too.” Allison’s voice was resolute.

This was the perfect opportunity. If Aröme Tower held any secrets, now was the time to uncover them.

“The people from the government obviously aren’t here for friendly conversation. The more of us there are, the easier it could be to find the solutions.”

Fabian didn’t have the luxury of time to dwell on the situation. He gave a small nod and said, “Alright. But be mindful of what you say and do when facing the authorities.”

After he finished speaking, he wasted no time arranging a business car. “Let’s go. We need to get there fast.”

“Got it.”

Allison’s brows furrowed slightly. She had never seen Fabian this serious before—like something major was about to go down. Based on what the secretary had mentioned earlier, it seemed like these government spot checks had become a routine occurrence.noveldrama

Before long, the three of them arrived at Aröme Tower. The scene outside was chaotic: black-and-white cars lined the entrance, and bright yellow caution tape cut across the area like a crime scene.

“They’re not even trying to be subtle. This is going to deal a serious blow to Aröme Tower’s reputation.”

Fabian inhaled deeply in an attempt to suppress his frustration. He tried his best to swallow his anger.

“They’re here to cause trouble again.”

Regardless of the so-called findings, just the presence of these vehicles and the caution tape was enough to cast suspicion on the company. That was exactly what the mastermind behind this wanted.

Allison was just as eager to find out what was going on.

As soon as they stepped inside, Allan was already there, waiting near the entrance. He strode over to Fabian without delay.

“Mr. Morgan, the audit team is on the third floor, in the lab. They’re claiming there’s an issue with Annis’ perfume formula and are taking samples for testing.”

Fabian’s expression darkened when he heard this.

“They suspect Annis? She has been working diligently at Aröme Tower for so many years without any errors.” Fabian’s fists clenched tightly. “Who’s leading the inspection?”

“Drucker Foster, the guy who once made those outrageous remarks to you.”

Allan’s expression soured as he said the name. His teeth ground together in barely restrained anger. “He’s making a mountain out of a molehill. The way he’s ‘inspecting’ things, it looks like he’s trying to dig up dirt no matter what.”

Fabian’s face remained unreadable as he strode forward. “Allan, there’s nothing to dig up. Have someone keep a close eye on them — I don’t want them wreaking havoc in our lab.”

Allan gave a firm nod. “I’ve already sent people to do that. After the previous inspections, we can see through some of their tricks.” Hearing this, Allison and Kellan exchanged a glance. This was no ordinary inspection.
