Chapter 1150:
“‘Why hasn’t she collapsed yet?’” one of them wondered.
“‘Stay alert. The boss will be here soon to check on things,’” the other replied.
Thanks to her sharp senses, Allison could catch pieces of conversation most people wouldn’t even notice.
She didn’t intend to confront them directly. It would be smarter to catch them all in one go.
Initially, she suspected that Melany was just playing her usual tricks.
But now, it seemed there was someone else behind it all.noveldrama
Soon, Allison stepped into the restroom.
As the water whooshed, she spat out the alcohol she had been holding in her mouth.
From outside, she could hear footsteps, as if two or three people were unsure about entering.
“‘What should we do? She still hasn’t come out,’” one of them said.
“‘Let’s wait a little longer. No need to rush in. We can’t let her see us,’” another replied.
“‘But I can’t stand it anymore. We have to find out what’s going on. What if she’s passed out? If we delay any longer and someone else comes here, it’ll be hard to take her away,’” a third voice insisted.
Allison listened closely. It was obvious that they were after her. As they were about to walk in, Allison opened the door and stepped out.
The door slammed open, and their gazes locked.
The group seemed taken aback by Allison’s direct stare.
“‘Oops, looks like we had a little too much to drink,’” one of them said.
“‘Yeah, we thought this was the men’s room,’” another mumbled.

“‘Seriously, the signs here…’”
“‘Are all over the place,’” the third added. They quickly acted as if they were drunk and just happened to stumble through.
Once they saw that Allison had stepped out of the restroom, one of them secretly sent a message to another staff member immediately. Allison, on the other hand, played it cool, acting as if she hadn’t noticed anything.
“‘Since you’ve made a mistake, kindly step aside,’” she said. Without a glance in their direction, she brushed past them.
If she wasn’t wrong, the real action was about to unfold.
Allison wondered who had the nerve to pull something like this at Fabian’s birthday bash.
As she headed back to the banquet hall, she saw a server standing off to the side, obviously waiting for someone.
She leaned against the wall, pretending to be unsteady.
“‘Why do I feel so tired all of a sudden?’” she wondered.
She acted like she hadn’t noticed anything unusual.
Just as she had expected, the server came right over. “‘Ma’am, can I help you with something?’” he asked politely.
“‘My head’s spinning a bit,’” she replied.
