Chapter 1441: Excitement

Chapter 1441: ExcitementChapter 1441: Excitement

Fletcher remained silent with a serious expression, as he was currently at a loss for clues. With the

Old Simpson side appearing to handle things with some special secrecy, he could only say, "No,

we'll only know after meeting them tomorrow."

Talia didn't ask further, just nodding lightly.

This night was anything but calm.

If the internet were a battlefield, it would surely be in complete chaos.

Those nameless and insignificant soldiers seemed to have gone mad, grabbing onto someone and

refusing to let go.

Camille had simply gone out to dinner with Ayan, but now she was being held onto as though in a

frenzy. If they had gone shopping together or arranged a date, wouldn't they be harshly criticized?

Camille had been trending on hot searches for most of the afternoon, yet the trend hadn't been

removed. Simpson Group remained silent, sparking a new round of speculation among those who

enjoyed stirring up trouble.

"Wow, Simpson Group and the Simpson family haven't responded. Does that mean they also think

Camille has a malicious mindset?"

"I bet the Simpson family is trying to figure out how to distance themselves from Camille."

"I hope the Simpson family can truly see who Camille is and not be deceived by her. They must get

rid of Camille.""Can't everyone calm down a bit? Is it possible that Simpson Group and the Simpson family's lack

of response indicates they simply don't want to get involved in baseless rumors? Or maybe they're

preparing to sue those spreading false accusations? Maybe we should all just calm down a bit?"

"Hey, are you Camille herself? Or did Camille give you something in return for defending her?"

"Probably Camille herself. I'm telling you, Camille, stop causing trouble for Mr. Simpson and the

Simpson family. Can't you leave them alone?"

Anyone who defended Camille would immediately get drowned in criticism, with no chance of being

understood.

Such behavior only intensified the atmosphere, and Sienna was naturally keeping a close eye on

everything. However, Simpson Group's continued silence also left her feeling a bit uneasy.

She turned to Rex and asked, "Why hasn't Ayan issued a clarification statement yet?"

She didn't dare approach Camille, knowing that Camille was likely not in the best of moods at the

moment. So, she chose to remain quiet to avoid bothering her. But this didn't mean Sienna was

doing nothing; she was closely following the situation.

Rex didn't dare ignore Sienna's words, so he started probing Ayan. In his cautious tone, Rex

carefully inquired, especially mindful of Ayan's possible frustrations.

However, Ayan found Rex's hesitant approach somewhat irritating and asked directly, "What are

you trying to say? Can you just spit it out?"

Ayan's voice was calm, but Rex misinterpreted it as Ayan being upset about the situation. So, Rex

tried to comfort and advise him, even suggesting, "Maybe this situation isn't as difficult as it seems?

If you find it challenging to handle or it's bothering you, why not leave it to a professional team? Ifthat doesn't work, you can always involve the authorities; they will take care of everything. Just tell

me if you need any resources or assistance."

After Rex's long speech, Ayan simply asked, "So, you think I'm incapable of handling this situation?"

Rex was stunned for a moment, then quickly denied, "I didn't mean that at all. Don't misunderstand

me. I haven't said anything yet!"

"So, what do you mean?"

"We're concerned about you. Cami's situation has had no response from you so far, and Sienna's

worried. That's why she asked me to check on you. Can you tell me what's going on? Why haven't

you responded yet?"

Rex could only be honest.

Ayan replied, "I have no intention of clarifying or responding."

"What do you mean?"

"Don't understand? Or did I express myself poorly?"

"Are you serious?"

"Do you think I'm lying?"

Of course not, Rex thought.

Nevertheless, he was deeply shocked. Such a reaction seemed highly unlikely, especially since he

knew Ayan well and had witnessed firsthand how he treated Camille. How could he have no

response at all?Could it be...?

Various chaotic thoughts raced through Rex's mind, and his expression changed instantly. He

couldn't afford to show too much reaction because he was making this call behind Sienna's back,

purely for information. Sienna was waiting in the living room for his response.

So, he lowered his voice and cautiously asked, "Have you changed your mind about Camille? Is it

because of this incident that you're starting to have doubts like the rumors online?" Rex was starting

to feel angry, as he believed that Ayan shouldn't entertain such thoughts. How could he even

consider it?

"Ayan, you can't think like that. It's wrong. Do you not know Camille? Don't you know what kind of

person she is? Those people online don't know the truth; they're just spreading baseless rumors."

Rex's emotions were getting the better of him; he genuinely didn't want Ayan to change his views on

Camille. If such a thing were to happen, Sienna would surely be furious.

As he delved deeper into his thoughts, a cold sweat started to form on his back, and he couldn't

help but shiver involuntarily.

Rex's emotions had run high, and his words were overly passionate, so Ayan remained silent for a

while, leading Rex to believe that his words had hit home, with Ayan now feeling guilty for his

thoughts.

noveldramaRex continued, feeling like a man pulling someone back from the edge of abandoning his family. In

that moment, he perceived himself shining like a beacon of light.

After he had said everything he wanted to, Ayan still didn't respond.

Rex urged, "Ayan, please don't stay silent. Don't find me nagging. I'm telling you this because no

one else will. Sienna and I both hope you and Camille can work things out. It hasn't been easy foryou to come this far. There have been so many ups and downs between you two, but now that

things seem to be better, Sienna and I both wish for your happiness."
