Bang! Della strutted into Larry’s office directly as the door was flung open. To her surprise, there was
no sign of him in the office.
As a workaholic, Larry usually spent most of his time in the office. She wondered why the man was not
seated at his desk as usual.
Has he stepped out for lunch? She knitted her brows as she glanced at her watch. It can’t be! It’s not
even time for lunch yet!
Coincidentally, Larry’s assistant stepped into his office with a pile of documents in her hands. “Ah! Ms.
Duff, you are here,” she greeted Della softly as she placed the piles of documents on Larry’s desk.
“Where is your president? He’s supposed to be here as usual,” Della asked the assistant suspiciously.
The assistant was momentarily stunned before she forced a smile and explained calmly, “Mr. Norton
has stepped out for a discussion on business collaboration with his new business partners. He’s
occupied by the new plans lately and might not be back in the office so soon. Ms. Duff, maybe you can
drop by again another day.”
I’m really impressed. Norton Corporation is developing significantly within such a short span of time!
When he insisted to reinvent his company previously, I was still quite worried about him. It looks like he
has made the right decision!
Larry is really no ordinary man. He’s really business-minded and has a good business acumen!
Complimenting Larry on his capabilities silently, Della let out a deep breath before sitting down on the
sofa. She was not in a hurry and intended to wait for him to be back.The assistant became anxious when she sensed that Della was reluctant to leave at once. Stifling her
anxiousness, she said courteously with a smile, “Ms. Duff, Mr. Norton won’t be back so soon. I think it’s
better that you go back first.”
“It’s alright. You get back to your work first.” Della waved her away.

again. Besides, she presumed that it would at most take him a few hours for the discussion pertaining
to business collaboration.
The assistant was helpless and sent Nancy a message hastily to ask for help.
In the meantime, both Nancy and Jake were in their living room. “Ha! That b*tch went to look for Larry
again!” Nancy rolled her eyes and growled in displeasure the moment she clicked open the message.
“Just let it be and let her wait there. After all, she would leave when Larry is still not back a few hours
later,” Jory said placidly.
It sounds right. Nevertheless, if that b*tch drops by Larry’s office every day to wait for him, she might
sense something uncanny! Our plan would surely be unveiled accidentally by then! Oh No! I can’t let it
happen!
Ah! Let me humiliate the shameless woman to distract her attention and at the same time teach her a
lesson. I’m sure she would be discouraged from dropping by Larry’s office for at least a few days!
Nancy took her jacket and stepped out at once.
“Where are you going?” Jory yelled at her as he tried to catch up with her.
“Norton Corporation!”This woman is really impetuous! She’s stubborn and tends to act impulsively before we are married. My
goodness, she is still the same even after she becomes a mother! Jory let out a deep sigh and dashed
out after her.
No matter what, I will have to protect my woman!
At the Norton Corporation, Nancy greeted Della languorously as she stepped into Larry’s office, “Ah!
Isn’t this Ms. Duff? Why are you here at this hour? You seem to be really free!”
Della stood up and had her guard up the moment she saw Nancy.
Why is she here all of a sudden? I’m sure it’s nothing good. Such a right timing? She’s already here not
long after I entered the place. How does she find out that I’m here? Is she stalking me?
“Why are you here?” Della glared at her and asked in displeasure.
“What a ridiculous question! Ms. Duff, I should be the one asking you this question. Don’t you think
so?” Nancy mocked her stupidity.
Huh! What right does she have to criticize me? After all, both Larry and I are single at the moment! Is
there anything wrong if I come and look for him and even go after him? She should look at herself! Isn’t
she humiliating herself when she’s rebuking me? As a married woman, is it appropriate for her to come
all the way here all by herself?
I wonder how Jory would react once he finds out that his wife comes to look for another man without
his knowledge!
“I’m here to discuss something with Larry…”
Bang! Before she could finish her words, the door was flung open and Jory emerged at once.“Larry is not in. Let’s go back and come again another day.” Jory held Nancy’s hand straight away and
was about to step out of the room.
