Estrella lazily said, “After that last case closed, he took me out for dinner. Had his secretary by his side,
so it wasn’t exactly a private affair.”
Jason’s hands pressed firmly along her spine, don’t care if his secretary was there or not. Just keep
your distance from him.”
As he spoke, Jason deliberately intensified his pressure.
“Ouch, take it easy, Jason,” Estrella protested, squirming under his touch. “I’ll keep my distance, sure,
but it depends on how well you treat me tonight. If you make tonight worthwhile, I’m all yours from now
on; but if not, I can’t promise my heart won’t wander.”
Thwack! As soon as Estrella finished her sentence, another resounding slap landed on her
backside.
“Go easy,” she reminded him. Without looking, she knew there would be the imprint of his fingers.
After their brief exchange, silence fell again. Jason’s hands moved lower, to the small of her back,
prompting Estrella to remind him with closed eyes, “Lower, a bit lower.”
Jason glanced up at her and continued his descent.
“A bit lower,” she insisted again.
Jason increased the pressure of his hands and looked at her face, suspecting that Estrella was doing it
on purpose. After kneading her for a moment, his fingers trailed along the edge of her panties.The next second, Estrella tensed up, and Jason, observing her reaction, leaned in close to her ear,
“Should I go lower? Do you want me to enter?”
She had only meant to tease him a little, knowing that Jason tended to get all bashful whenever she got
shameless. She hadn’t expected him to turn the tables on her this time. Estrella opened her eyes,

Estrella remained motionless, eyes still closed. When she felt like having children, she would bring it up

Not long after Estrella had finished her breakfast and arrived at the law firm, the director buzzed with
excitement as he called out to her, “Estrella, we’ve got a few new cases at the firm, and the clients
mentioned they’d prefer you to be their lawyer. Come and discuss the details when you’re ready.”
“Sure thing,” Estrella replied, already suspecting that Korey had something to do with this.
She’d just set her bag down on her desk and was about to head to the director’s office when another
colleague suddenly stood up from taking a call and said, “Estrella, we got a ring from Nelson
International. They need you to swing by ASAP for some legal matters.”Talk about timing.
The director, overhearing the conversation, reluctantly said, “Estrella, you’d better head over to Nelson
International first, then. We can chat about these new cases once you’re
back.”

As she stepped out of the building, she saw Jason’s sleek black Maybach parked right below the law
firm.
Drew, seeing Estrella descend the stairs, hurriedly got out and opened the car door, greeting her with a
“Ms. Estrella.”
Drew was waiting right there, and Estrella didn’t need to ask to know what Jason was up to. Jason was
well aware that the firm had taken on new cases and he was trying to keep her from getting entangled
with Korey.

Once the car was rolling, Estrella let out a soft chuckle, everywhere, and the news travels fast.” She
hadn’t even had a chance to look into the cases before Jason had someone waiting for her downstairs.
Drew offered a sheepish smile, “Ms. Estrella, I’m not quite sure what you mean.”Estrella shot back, “Keep playing dumb.”
Drew maintained his goofy smile, seemingly unfazed.
